Awesome KMart Doubles Trip

I think Kmart is trying to put the cabash on us couponers this time around because they're limiting each customer to 10 coupons per day (which pretty much makes it impossible to get everything for free AND use the $5 off $50 coupon that's out there).

I went on Sunday morning and had a cart full of stuff. I asked the cashier if they were enforcing the 10 coupon limit and she said they were. So I asked if I could do multiple transactions and she said "sure!" Go figure...

Transaction 1

  • 5 Oust sprays, $4.19 each, used (5) $2.00 Qs from 5/10 SS (doubles to $4)
  • 1 Velveeta shells and cheese, $2.29, used $1.00 printable coupon (no longer available, doubles to $2.00)
Final Price: $1.24 + $0.08 tax = $1.32 OOP and got back $3 Catalina for buying $20 in Unilever products = $1.68 moneymaker!

Transaction 2
The coupon fairy left me a whole tearpad of $1.00 off Ziploc Easy Zip bags on the shelf. I love when that happens...
  • 4 Ziplog Easy Zip bags, $1.89, used (4) $1 tearpad coupons (doubles to make it FREE)
  • 1 2000 Flushes, $3.19, used $1.00 Q from June All You magazine (doubles to $2.00)
  • 3 Velveeta shells and cheese, $2.29 each, used (3) $1.00 printable coupon (no longer available, doubles to $2.00)
  • 4 Kraft Easy Mac cups, $1.09 each, used (2) $1.00 off 2 printable coupon (doubles to $2.00 off 2)
Final Price: $2.42 + $0.15 tax = $2.57 OOP

Transaction 3
  • 4 Ziplog Easy Zip bags, $1.89, used (4) $1 tearpad coupons (doubles to make it FREE)
  • 1 2000 Flushes, $3.19, used $1.00 Q from June All You magazine (doubles to $2.00)
  • 2 Nestle Tollhouse refrigerated cookies, $3.00 each, used (2) $1.00 printable coupons (doubles to $2.00)
  • 6 Kraft Easy Mac cups, $1.09 each, used (3) $1.00 off 2 printable coupon (doubles to $2.00 off 2)
Final Price: $2.73 + $0.16 tax = $2.89 OOP and got back $1 for buying 2 Nestle (deal good only through June 8th)

Transaction 4
The coupon fairy stuck again! Someone left 2 coupons for $2.00 off Chinet on the shelf so I felt obligated to put them to good use.
  • 4 Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, $2.19 each, used (4) $0.75 coupons from 6/7 SS (doubles to $1.50)
  • 2 Chinet Crystal cups, $3.19 each, used $2.00 "found" coupons (doubles to make them FREE)
  • 2 Glade Sprays, $0.95 each, used $1.00 off 2 coupon (source unknown, doubles to make both FREE)
  • 2 Ziplog Easy Zip bags, $1.89, used (2) $1 tearpad coupons (doubles to make them FREE)
Final Price: $2.66 + $0.21 tax = $2.87 OOP, used $1 Catalina from 1st transaction and $1.87 cash

Summary: I ended up with $88.33 of stuff for $5.65 after coupons and Catalinas!

I'm too lazy to post the huge list of deals that you can find this week at KMart, so I'm going to send you over to Hip2Save's post (thanks for putting that together!)

When I went I was able to check out with 19 coupons. I think it depends (as always) on your cashier. I went to the Noland Rd. K-Mart. I got $70 worth of groceries for $8.50.

Wow! That's the Kmart I went to also, so I guess I just got a cashier that was being a stickler for the coupon limit. I hope you were able to use the $5 off $50 also. With being limited to 10 Qs, I wasn't able to make it to $50.
