Wednesday Trippin' + New Coupons at Walgreens

Yesterday was DBF's birthday, so I had to hotfoot it out of work to get my houndin' done before meeting his brother and wife for some mexican food last night. First stop was Target to grab some cheap Glade candle tins to finish up the final SC Johnson $5.00 rebates for DBF.

Transaction 1
I had already purchased 2 Glade Sense and Sprays on Sunday for $1.00 total at CVS, so I needed one more item to do the rebate. Hence....

1 Glade candle tin, on sale for $1.67
Used the $1.50 coupon found inside (I have a ton of these!)
Final Price: $0.17 and will submit with the earlier purchase for the $5.00 rebate to make this a $3.83 moneymaker!

Transaction 2
3 Glade candle tins, on sale for 3 for $5.00
Used three $1.50 coupons
Final Price: $0.50 and will submit for the $5.00 rebate to make this a $4.50 moneymaker!

Then it was off to grab a Coldstone Creamery cake for my hunny's birthday. Picked up a Midnight Delight cake that was oh-so-delish. Then to Walgreens to grab some Nyquil while it was on sale. We needed this badly!

4 Nyquil "20 oz more free" bottles, on sale for $5.00 each
2 Puffs tissues
- Used four $1.50 coupons from the 2/7 PG (didn't have the $2.00 coupons from the 1/17 PG)
- Used the "FREE Puffs when you buy 2 Vicks products" coupon from the 2/7 PG
Final Price: $14.00 + tax and got back a $10.00 RR = $0.66 per item!

While I was there, I also snagged a sheet of coupons that they had laying on the pharmacy counter (see the picture). These are all Walgreens coupons that can be combined with additional manufacturer coupons, and they're valid until 3/2/2010. The front sheet is red and the 2nd sheet is yellow.
