Found Objects: Peelies, Tearpads, Hangtags and Blinkies

Every time I visit a grocery store (even if I'm going in for just a few items), I scour every aisle for coupons. The best coupons are often peelies (stickers on the product), hangtags (found hanging off the neck of a bottle - especially wine bottles!) or tearpads (pads of coupons found near the product shelf). Oh, and don't forget "blinkies" - those are tearpads that have a blinking light above them to get your attention.

Here's what I found this weekend:

Hen House

  • 7-Up product 2-liter, FREE when you buy 3 bags of Easter candy 10.5 oz or larger (hangtag, expires 4/5/10)

  • Eat Smart Naturals chips 5 oz or larger, $1.00 off 2 (peelie, expires 12/31/10)

  • Quaker chewy granola bars, $1.00 off 2 (peelie, expires 12/31/10)

  • American Beauty egg noodles, $1.00 off 2 (peelie, expires 5/9/10)

  • Nabisco premium saltine crackers, $1.00 off when you also buy 1 canned soup or chili (tearpad, expires 3/28/10)

Hy-Vee
  • Fiber one lowfat milkshake, $0.50 (peelie, expires 12/31/10)

Price Chopper
  • Wilson deli meat, $1.00 off 1 lb (tearpad, expires 7/31/10)

  • Kraft Jet Puffed Mallow Bitesd, $0.40 (tearpad, expires 3/31/2011)

  • Betty Crocker Warm Delights, $1.00 off 2 (peelie, expires 11/14/10)
