Taste of Home Cooking School in KC March 30th

The ever-popular Taste of Home Cooking School is coming to the Kansas City area on March 30th (ok, actually it's in Lee's Summit). For those of you not in KC, check this schedule to see when it will be held closer to your location!

According to the press release, attendees will enjoy creative and entertaining cooking demos by a culinary specialist, learn step-by-step techniques and come home with a free gift bag filled with great products, coupons and Taste of Home magazines. You'll also get a FREE subscription to Taste of Home magazine or Taste of Home Health Cooking AND a free cookbook. It seems that alone would be worth the $15.00 registration fee. There are more details on what you can expect here.

The School will be held on Tuesday, March 30th at The Pavilion at John Knox Village. Doors open at 4 p.m. and there will be booths with vendors, food and shopping opportunities. The show begins at 7 p.m. To order tickets by phone, call (816) 350-6341 or stop by the Independence Examiner office at 410 S. Liberty (Independence, MO). The event is sponsored by the Examiner, Consentino Price Chopper and other local vendors.

(Disclaimer: I wasn't paid to write this post - I just thought this looked like a neat event.)
